"My son, who was attending a college out of state, was fortunate enough to have been given a car from one of his brothers. The car is old, but makes for a good "starter vehicle". While my son had flown in for Thanksgiving, he would afterwards be taking the car and driving back to school. However; before doing so, it was imperative that we got his car insurance squared away. Tyler Stanley, was the Customer Service Rep. that took care of us. He was polite, professional, and understanding of our current needs. He was quite knowledgeable in answering any questions, and responded promptly to my emails. What truly impressed me, was his diligence in finding any and every discount possible, without me even having to ask; and, subsequently, set us up with the coverage we needed, and at a fair price. Within 24 hours, the car was insured and ready to be driven by its new owner. A big "Thank you" to Tyler, for making this transition as painless as possible. "My recent experience with State Farm regarding a life insurance application left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. While the initial communication to secure my debit card for the policy was prompt, the follow-up—or lack thereof—after I was denied coverage by State Farm Corporate was incredibly poor. After receiving two refund checks in the mail from State Farm, I was left completely in the dark. Despite my attempts to reach Brian or anyone from Patrick Hall's office via calls and texts, I received no explanation for the denial. As someone who works in sales, I find this lack of communication unacceptable. It felt as though, once the sale was lost, my time was no longer valued, and the agent simply wrote me off. My denial was ultimately due to medical reasons, specifically some back issues and other past health concerns. However, the true source of my frustration wasn't the denial itself, but the fact that I had to wait over two weeks and initiate contact multiple times before finally receiving an explanation directly from State Farm Corporate today. This failure to communicate and explain the situation demonstrates a significant lack of concern for the customer. It also suggests that the agent may have been more focused on the lost commission than on providing proper service. A crucial aspect of good business and great customer service is thorough follow-up. State Farm's own mission statement emphasizes "commitment to customer needs, operating fairly, and doing the right thing." This experience did not align with those values. I'm sharing this not to discourage others from doing business with State Farm, but to highlight an area for significant improvement. I hope this feedback serves as a valuable tool for enhancing customer service practices within the agency, rather than being perceived as negative criticism. (I received a nice sincere apology reply from Brian at State Farm. I changed my 2 star to 4 for response and quick timing)"
